3 Days Safari Meru National Park

Meru National Park is famous for its lions. The Park is especially associated with Elsa the Lioness and the film Born Free, a 1966 Technicolor British drama film starring Virginia McKenna and Bill Travers as Joy and George Adamson, a real-life couple who raised Elsa, an orphaned lion cub, to adulthood. Elsa’s Grave is at the southern end of Meru National Park, off the southern bank of the Ura River. The Park is one of the best places in Kenya to see rhinos in the wilderness. At last count, the fenced 83 sq. km Rhino Sanctuary was home to 34 black and 70 white rhinos

Day 1 Nairobi | Meru National Park.
You will be picked up early in the morning from your hotel and depart drive to Meru National Park. You will enjoy the beautiful scenery along Thika super highway, the Pineaple, tea and coffee platation such as views of snow-capped Mt Kenya, the meandering road through deep valleys especially after Embu town where you can make several stopovers for sightseeing, Including view Miraa” khat” plantation before stopping for your lunch in Meru or Maua, proceeding to Murera gate for the park formalities. You will be exploring Meru National Park tracking animals in the bushes and in the evening drive to the camp as you enjoy the Campfire dinner and overnight.

Day 2 Meru National Park
This is your full day with Nature. You will Enjoy your early morning breakfast and depart for a game drive with packed lunch, you will spend a full day game drive. You will enjoy your packed lunch in the park. Continue with the game drives and later return to your camp for dinner and overnight

Day3 Meru National Park | Nairobi
This being your last day on the safari, enjoy your Breakfast and depart for Nairobi arriving late in the afternoon. You will enjoy the beautiful scenery en route such as the large wheat, French beans plantations around Timau, the view of Mt. Kenya among others, and this tour can also be customized to proceed to Olpejeta Conservancy at a request
